According to SamMobile , new leaks show that Samsungs new S Band will provide call and message notifications by way of S Bands connection to Samsungs latest S-Health app (S Health 3.0) and track your calories burned, steps walked, distance run, and will provide what Samsung calls sleep quality monitoring features. Last but not least, Samsung provides loss protection, alerting you when your smartphone and S Band are more than 10 meters apart. Since the S Band will compete with other fitness bands out there, the choice comes down to your smartphone preference and what you want in a fitness tracker.
